The purpose of this blog is to give me an opportunity to write. I have always wanted to write a novel - to be the next C.S. Lewis or Tolkien. But every time I started to write I became overwhelmed. I wanted to create an epic story with a riveting allegory that was subtle yet striking. I would start and then I would stop. The purpose of Tell It Short is to stop that.

These are short stories. They have no point. They are not allegories, metaphors, or epics. Instead they are fun and meaningless. I hope to gain experience by writing this blog. Not every story will be gold. I don't spend years pouring over each turn in the stories. Instead I write what comes to mind and wait to see what happens.
